New description:

 In spacefights, it might be good to fly in formation. There must be some
 sort of a commander prescribing the formation. We need an easy interface
 to command other spaceships and a simple system  to display other ships
 where their place in the formation is. Also one should be able to enter or
 leave a formation at will.
